Fundraising for Day 2 – The Power of Community Theme: Empathy📍 Route: Nant Conwy RFC to Dolgellau RFC 📏 Distance: Approx 35 Miles

Hi everybody,

I am proud Kit manager for the oldest football club in the world, Sheffield FC and also for Sheffield Eagles RFC 

On 13th October 2026  I'll be taking part in the Speakeasy Club Bench2Bench Charity Walk, walking approximately 35 miles to help raise funds and awareness for mental health support through community sport. Speakeasy Club places its distinctive pink benches at sports clubs and community venues, providing free wellbeing resources and encouraging people to start conversations when they need support,

There is a Barrel at the MEPS Home of Football stadium, Which is a perfect place to meet up for a chat ❤️

Mental health challenges can affect anyone, and too many people struggle in silence. Speakeasy Club's mission is to use the power of sport and community to help people find support before they reach crisis point. The Bench2Bench walks were created to raise funds, bring people together, and highlight the importance of looking after one another. 

Walking 35 miles will be a real physical and mental challenge, but it is nothing compared to the challenges faced every day by those struggling with their mental health. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help Speakeasy Club continue providing free resources and support within community clubs and organisations.
